What should happen?

After chat in the Staff Area about the future of the site keeping the shoutbox was one of the thngs brought up and Making this Poll I have decided the whole forum deserves a say in this.
You have 5 Days to vote.

I voted to remove completely. A quiet shout box will be worse than none whatsoever, and quiet it will be if only ex-staff and donators are premium. It'll be like having a broken toy :P

As a matter of interest, have we had any donators?
We have not had any so far.

i don't really care much about it anyways i rarly post in the chat box i have like 60 posts in it or something i don't mind it staying i am not going to use it much anyways.

I'm one of those who uses it too much. I think a good idea might be to make it available to everyone during radio broadcasts, but then remove it again, as during radio broadcasts, it's fun to chat about the songs etc.

Putting it up for Radios only would probably be a massive pain.

I voted to get rid of it. Here is what i posted earlier for the reason why.
Here is what i have noticed. The shoutbox has to be removed. No matter what anyone says it has to be removed. I have seen to many sites go down cause of a shoutbox. All of you have noticed once a new member gets enough posts they go to the shoutbox which is bringing activity down in the forums which is making the forum look dead and members dont wana stay.
I know its going to be hard to do but its a must. Thats what i think.
Sorry if i offend anyone, im just speaking my mind and what i think is best for animestep

@Nisage: Dark will probably make a thread for talking to replace the shoutbox or you could talk in the forums, this forum is really for forums, not for a shoutbox.

I feel that a shout box for the duration of the broadcast would be a better idea, as in a song, timing is more important, and it makes requests etc. easier. When not broadcasting, all it does is divert people from posting, to the shout box

Well if it does I wont be removing it untill Wednesday as I have exams Monday-Tuesday.
